Cookies & Storage
The short version
Browsing this site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage. There is no advertising technology, no behavioural profiling, no analytics or pixel tracking, and no sale or sharing of personal information for advertising. Because nothing non-essential is set before you act, we do not put a consent banner in front of the site.
Necessary storage
Our hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary request handling and logging — including your IP address — to serve pages, defend against abuse and keep the site available. Where an administrator signs in to the private studio dashboard, an authentication session is stored in that administrator's own browser. Neither is used to track visitors.
Language translation
The site offers an optional language selector supplied by GTranslate. The selector's script and flag image are requested from that provider when a page loads, which means your browser contacts them and they can see your IP address and the page address, in the same way as any externally hosted asset. No cookie or stored value is created until you choose a language. If you do choose one, a translation preference cookie (googtrans) is set in your browser and the visible public page content is sent to the translation service to be translated. Form fields, anything you type, and protected brand terms are excluded from translation. Machine translation may be imperfect; the English version of this site is the authoritative one.
Forms
The enquiry and newsletter forms send what you type directly to our database so that we can reply to you or send occasional letters. They do not set tracking cookies. What we do with that information is described in the Privacy Notice.
Managing cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data from its settings, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Clearing this site's data will reset any language you have chosen and return the site to English. Blocking cookies entirely does not prevent you from browsing or from sending an enquiry.
