Cookies & Storage
The short version
Browsing this site sets no cookies of our own. There is no advertising technology, no behavioural profiling, no analytics or pixel tracking, and no sale or sharing of personal information for advertising. The only optional element is a third-party language translation service, and it does not load until you agree to it. We ask for that choice once, and you can change it at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Necessary storage
Our hosting and security providers use strictly necessary request handling — including your IP address — to serve pages, defend against automated abuse and keep the site available. This includes a short-lived bot-management cookie (__cf_bm) set by our network provider. We also store your cookie choice in your own browser so that we do not have to ask again; it holds nothing but that decision. Where an administrator signs in to the private studio dashboard, an authentication session is stored in that administrator's own browser. None of this is used to track or profile visitors.
Language translation
The site offers an optional language selector supplied by GTranslate. It is classed as functional, not necessary, so its script is not requested at all unless you accept it. Once accepted, your browser contacts that provider, which can see your IP address and the page address, and a translation preference cookie (googtrans) is set when you choose a language. The visible public page content is then sent to the translation service. Form fields, anything you type, and protected brand terms are excluded from translation. Machine translation may be imperfect; the English version of this site is the authoritative one. If you decline, the site simply stays in English and a Language button offers to reopen the choice.
Changing your mind
Choose Cookie settings in the footer at any time to accept the translation service, reject it, or clear your answer so that you are asked again. Rejecting removes the translation script and returns the site to English.
Forms
The enquiry and newsletter forms send what you type directly to our database so that we can reply to you or send occasional letters. They do not set tracking cookies. What we do with that information is described in the Privacy Notice.
Managing cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data from its settings, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Clearing this site's data will reset any language you have chosen and return the site to English. Blocking cookies entirely does not prevent you from browsing or from sending an enquiry.
